A Ritual Breathwork gathering in practice

OUR STORY

Nervous system science
meets sacred ceremony.

Ritual Breathwork bridges evidence-informed somatic practice with the reverence of ritual, creating space for transformation to unfold with presence, choice, and respect for the body's pace.

THE HEART OF THE METHOD

We are not here to
force a breakthrough.

At Ritual Breathwork, we are not interested in pushing people past their edge or chasing catharsis for catharsis' sake. We do not measure the success of a session by how dramatic it looks from the outside.

The work is about creating the conditions for the body to feel safe enough to stay present, notice what is happening, and move at a pace that can actually be integrated.

HOW WE HOLD THE WORK

Listen closely.
Trust the body.

Our facilitators are trained to listen closely, titrate the experience, work with nervous system cues, support co-regulation, and trust the intelligence of the body.

Sometimes transformation looks like a profound emotional release, but sometimes it is much quieter. It can look like staying connected to yourself while something difficult moves through, noticing a protective pattern without immediately acting from it, or realizing there is now a choice where there used to be an automatic response.

Presence over performance.
Capacity over intensity.
Integration over spectacle.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Kali.

The body has to be part of the conversation.

I came to this work through psychology, creativity, entrepreneurship, and eventually the realization that understanding ourselves intellectually only takes us so far.

I hold a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and spent years studying human behavior, trauma, relationships, and the mind. But it was somatic work that helped me understand something I now teach at the center of Ritual Breathwork: the body has to be part of the conversation.

You can understand the pattern. You can know where it came from. You can have extraordinary insight into your own story and still find that your nervous system is responding as though an old protection is necessary. That realization fundamentally changed the way I understood transformation and the way I wanted to work with people.

I trained as a Somatic Breathwork Practitioner and later as a Somatic Breathwork Teacher, and in 2022 I founded Ritual Breathwork Studio. Since then, I have worked with individuals, groups, therapists, coaches, healers, retreat leaders, and facilitators who are looking for a more embodied way to work with themselves and the people they serve.

SCIENCE · SOMATICS · SACRED RITUAL

The responsibility of holding something profound.

My work also extends into underground ceremonial spaces, where I support the work of sacred plants through breath, nervous system awareness, presence, and integration.

Those experiences have deepened my respect for altered states, the intelligence of the body, and the responsibility that comes with holding space when someone is moving through something profound.

Today, I train facilitators through the Ritual Breathwork School in an approach that bridges nervous system science, somatic awareness, and sacred ritual while remaining deeply rooted in consent, choice, and trauma-aware facilitation.

THE HEART OF THIS WORK

I am far less interested in creating the most dramatic experience in the room than I am in creating the conditions where someone feels safe enough to actually meet themselves.

That is the heart of this work.
